javascript - Find closest point of a div border (relative to another div) -

i have been looking answer long time , can't figure out. need find is, having 2 div's, coordinates of closest point @ border of last div, relative first one.

as can see, right not able i'm linking fixed points of each div using svg. link closest points @ border of each div.

i got it.

finally, problem pointless , did connect center of each div , made sure div showing on top of canvas.

no matter how elements positioned, looks perfect.
